Great to hear, because my kids keep the cows in business. I am enjoying your blog - and feeling better about some of the items in our pantry. Health benefits of cinnimon, chocolate, and apples were are interesting.
ReplyDeleteI found this blog fun to read because I grew up on a dairy farm and we frequently drank the full fat milk straight from the cows. It's only been in the past 3-4 years that I changed to drinking the fat free milk which initially was a huge change.
ReplyDeleteI drink about 2 glass of Milk a day and I am glad that I am getting the rich source of calcium, potassium, vitamin D, and protein. I knew that Milk helps strengthens and builds bone mass but didn't know that Non-reduced fat milke is high in saturated fats and cholestrol and that it could lead to health implications.
ReplyDeleteI love milk and I am always drinking it when I can. When I was little I used to drink whole milk because I thought that it tasted so much creamier than the other reduced fat milks. As I grew up my parents began to buy the milk with the less fat in it because they realized that it did contain larger quantities of saturated fat. Now I do drink 1% or fat free milk but I can definitely tell the difference. When I do get whole milk it is a treat!
ReplyDeleteI think this article is great, and especially interesting since i do not drink milk. I dont why, I just really dislike the taste of it which worries me sometime that im not getting enough calcium, even though i take a supplement everyday. I feel like it doesnt carry the same benifits.
